APPIANO GENTILE - Inter finished off their preparations for Saturday’s Siena clash with a morning training session at the Centro Sportivo Angelo Moratti.
After a warm-up Mourinho’s players went through a technical-tactical session, playing a series of training games.
Julio Ricardo Cruz, Francesco Toldo and Patrick Vieira trained separately, performing strength building drills after treatment and physiotherapy.

APPIANO GENTILE - The penultimate training session before Siena-Inter took place this morning at the Centro Sportivo Angelo Moratti.
Watched by representatives of Inter’s sponsors and commercial partners (who wished José Mourinho and the players season’s greetings after training) the Nerazzurri underwent a ninety-minute session involving warm-up and velocity exercises, shooting drills, and a tactical practice game.
Nelson Rivas trained with his team-mates for the entire duration of today’s session while Patrick Vieira substituted the target practice phase with some individual technique drills on the pitch.
Victor Obinna was back in full training while Julio Ricardo Cruz and Francesco Toldo trained separately.
The entire squad will return to the training ground this evening for dinner.



Inter back training ahead of Siena clash

APPIANO GENTILE - After a day off following their 4-2 victory over Chievo, the Nerazzurri reported back to the training ground this morning for the first session ahead of Saturday evening’s Serie A trip to Siena.
Mourinho and his staff divided the players into groups for the week’s first workout. Those who played most of Sunday’s match performed warm-up exercises and played a series of practice matches, while the others (including Nelson Rivas) performed warm-up exercises, athletic and tactical drills and played some tactical training games.
A third group of players went through individual sessions: Julio Ricardo Cruz (treatment, cycling, running in gym); Victor Obinna (treatment, physiotherapy for right ankle sprain); Francesco Toldo (cycling, specific exercises in gym); Patrick Vieira (strength building, running, 30 minutes with ball).
Dejan Stankovic, who is ruled out of Siena-Inter through suspension, had an extra day off, while Adriano, ruled out of the same game through injury, is on leave.



Primavera: Albinoleffe v Inter

MILAN - Inter play away to Albinoleffe in round eight of the Campionato Primavera - Trofeo Giacinto Facchetti on Wednesday.
The Nerazzurri, whose weekend match against Mantova was postponed due to the heavy snowfall, take on their local rivals at the Centro Sportivo Comunale in Cavernago in the province of Bergamo (kick-off 14:30).
Inter coach Vincenzo Esposito will be able to count on Francesco Bolzoni, Davide Santon and goalkeeper Vid Belec, who has been training with the first team for the past week after the injury to Francesco Toldo.
