MILAN – Mario Balotelli headed home a Muntari cross in the 15th minute to give Inter the lead in Saturday’s 2-2 draw with Palermo.
"We played very well in the first half but slowed down in the second and unfortunately our opponents managed to equaliser," the striker told Sky Sport Italia. "It’s a pity, we definitely could have won. I’m happy about my goal, but I should have scored more because, like my team-mates, I had other chances. We created a lot in the first half and we should have killed off the game."
On his tactical approach to the game, Balotelli said: "Mourinho has made me understand that, besides my work as a striker, I have to get back in defence and help the team.
"Will I watch Genoa-Juventus? No, I don’t think so. We are just thinking about working to win the last seven matches from now until the end of the season. We are fully aware of our objective and we will do everything to win it."
